2017.09.17 Today we did a walkabout just to see how our various trail signs had fared and truth be told, not too good. Most have burnt.
On a positive note though we found the borehole and one of the property pegs at last.

Walking through the forest we found this hollow tree just begging us to come back with the chainsaw and slice off some rings.
On return we were greeted by our neighboring pet dog who visits the reserve rather often and has gotten friendly with us.
After all the devastation and blackness we saw all day it was good to see the Sterculia at the back of the nursery flowering profusely.
