2017.06.19 As our next door neighbor Thomas does not want the pipe lane across the property anymore we agreed on an alternative route and Ellie and I went to check it out.
Here I look at the new buffalo game fence and how we are going to lead the pipe along it.
The new route is a long way around and a lot of work. Thomas has promised to dig it in along the northern fence for us to lead it further along the servitude. We can tie it onto the fence but here we will have a problem with the gate.
We went onto the property and found plenty burnt hakea trees which had shed their seeds so that promises something for the future!
We also found that he had teed off from our water supply to fill some jojo tanks for his sheep. Sneaky!
On the way back we took one last look at the sorry sight of the burnt remains hanging on the trees.
One good thing about the fire is the fire lilies afterwards though the fire seems to have been too hot. We have far fewer than after the last fire.
